Its all good peoples. We wont be fighting packs of 30 monters, so 10 pages may be a bit overboard. The monster packs are determined (with a random seed) by the number in your party. It can be a bit lower or higher, but never a mass amount. (unless we have 30 role players lmao.) And besides since when does more posts = bad? ;) WOOT its all gravy baby! :-* :-*

i actualy like nihkos idea! :o yeah i said it.. i liked it.. but since not everyone can do what they want to here.. may i suggest perhaps.. if you want to plot something out with someone .. just fucking do it! like if i want to be in cahoots with someone.. i am just going to go talk to that person and see if they want to do it. as long as we are going by the rules everything is fine.. and there is nothing in the rules that states the gm has to know everything.. (JUST PLAY BY THE FUCKING RULES YOU NOOBS!) PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANYTHING I SAID ABOVE IN THE WRONG WAY.. I AM NOT MAD AT ANYONE. I JUST LIKE TO SAY FUCKING ALOT.. LOL

Wait, Drak, are you saying that in every single battle for every single character, every other character has a chance to fight at anytime?

Mashekle- 01-24-2006

We need to show all battle results in the forums otherwise people WONT KNOW HOW MUCH LIFE THE DAMN MONSTERS HAVE LEFT! Or how much dmg other players can do! Or even how much life your allies have! In the middle of a fight, you will want to know all of this , and posting it all in the forums makes life for everyone much easier. :) Fell free to talk to each other about alliances, about love friendship or anything else in private anywhere you choose! ..... guys this is like before gw came out.. lots of debates and confusion about something most people have never experienced. Lets just wait and see how it works? Who knows maybe we can figure a way to implement some sort of chat role playing game, but this forum role playing game is designed for 100% forum usage. :D YYYEEEAAAHHH!@!@@!@! WOOO HOOOO!@!@!@

Mashekle- 01-24-2006

And yes nihko all characters can fight any monster or other player at anytime they choose. Fights are GROUP events not single person events. (though they can be if we have a rogue player who just wants to go out and fight alone, but woe be to the soloer who dies! lol.... YEAH MAN YEAH IM FEELIN IT!!!!

Nakashima- 01-24-2006

yeah you fucking noobs.. i hate you all.. just kidding.. i am willing to try.. o:) but i swear if anyone calls me a ---- and a ---- then i will ---- and it won't be pretty. :-s

Mashekle- 01-24-2006

Ill put my ----- in yer filthy ---- Omg thought of a new game. Where we like make a sentence like that with bleeped out words, and people have to like fill in the blanks lmao YEAH@!!@@! GAMES ARE AWESOME!!!

Being no stranger to online forums myself, I have to say that whether Nikko realized it or not, most forum games I've played where handled exactly as he stated. In fact, as one of the gm's of Yahoo-Gia I worked a lot out with other gms "on paper" if you'll believe that. Though posting everything we do sounds plausible, we never tried it. But then again, most of our members we knew in person. Her point is that no one has to interact simultaneously using the current method. And that even if we did do the majority of the work Nikko's way, the only way you could really emulate the "no need for immediate reaction" that posts allow would be e-mail. And they would take twice as long to post that way since so many people are interacting at different times. For the sake of time you might as well just post everything. However, in the forum it was stated: "This part is bad, because your character doesn’t know Kyra, and you never asked her via pm, or messenger etc. if your character and hers could know each other. This actually forces her char to already know yours in some way, and tries to force the storyline." This sounds to me like a conversation may be easier held in private between the character’s players, as long as no technical detail is utilized (such as character stats or unique abilities). For instance, if Bob the Invisible Slayer is talking to Sam the Man Eating Ware-fish and says: "where are your pants you soggy fool?" because there players have agreed to it, the same post may contain Sam’s reply of, "If they was up your noise eating a ham sandwich you’d know!" as long as neither complained that the other had taken control beyond their power to do so.

Raccool- 01-25-2006

Sam...... the Man-Eating..... Were...........-fish....... ... :( But thx for pointing that out. Btw, could you give me a link to something having to do with that Yahoo thing that you talked about? I'd like to see what you meant.

Yup exactly correct. I thought I was clear about that in the rules. :( Ok here goes. You may form secret alliances / loves / friendships all you want through private means, and do not need to inform anyone of this. You may also request that the gm add certain things, plots twists, npc's, etc to the game via private means, and do not need to tell the others about it. You may pm anyone about joining your pasts together etc, just make sure you get permission from that person first ;) If you guys have anything else to add let me know. :D

Mashekle- 01-29-2006

Ok some rule addons that I will post on the main site soon. All teleporting abilities have a 1 mile radius, and are NON combat only. You have to know where you are teleporting to elsewise you could end up in front of a semi. :) More to come.

Mashekle- 02-05-2006

Regarding unique weapons. No armor, and nor armor type qualities allowed. Max weapon dmg is 30% If you want to do more than one type of dmg then you must break it down. 2 different types can only be 15% each. 3 can only be 10% each etc.. The max dmg can only equal up to 30%. If your unique weapon does more than one dmg type, each dmg type will be counted as a separate attack, dmg types cannot stack. a weapon with 3 dmg types all doing 10% dmg will count as 3 separate attacks of 10% each.
