Yeah, it was awesome. I have several things to point out. 1.) We cannot forget to mention Elladan in the second Battle. He replaced Death when he had to go. He was a War/?? and did a very nice job also. B.) I was Mo/Me although all my spells are from the monk family. I only have the secondary cause you can. I may change it to something else if I find a spell in another family that I might benefit from. And thanks for the words of encouragement about my healing. That was my first GvG and first real PvP other than the academy and one Tombs match along time ago with Ekim. (We got beat in the TeamVTeamVTeam part.) 3.) Looks like I have alot of farming to do. I need about 200 Parchment and more feathers to get my Droknar's Armor. I realize afterwards I have my low level armor still on my monk. OOOPS! Other than that it was a blast. Even though the first battle had some opposing Henchmen, neither team stood a chance in either battle. I think we had maybe 2 deaths. One was Peros running the flag and got ambushed by the entire other team with ZERO backup. (Sorry man :P). Damn, I can't get over how we had their entire team laying dead at our feet so many times I can't count. I'm glad they got rezzed every 2 minutes just so we could kill them again. That last battle was awesome at the end Peros. SO sorry you missed it. We got to their Base right as they rezzed. We killed everyone on their team at like 10:30minutes. They realized they had 1:30 minutes until rez and we were standing on their Guild Lord... They were saying "goodgame" before we even attacked the Lord. They knew defeat was on the menu as the main course. HAHAHA. Ok enough out of me.

Peros- 06-24-2005

In both battles we had there teams on the floor. :D lol, it was so fun to see the try and then just get thwarted by are amazing teamwork ;) And damn, would have loved to see them defeated. Well, still glad you all had enough power to finish. Which goes to show you are build is still amazing and I just make it better ;) :P Also, being a mesmer secondary from a monk has its benefits. You can try leeching skills for some extra energy for more healing. (thats probably my most complaint is how I waste energy so much so fast, even if I use small 5 energy heals.) And last...YOU WERE USING WEAK ARMOR!? (lol that only shows we're amazing even with are disadvantges, and we get them straightened out we will be even better)

Mashekle- 06-24-2005

wow Valentine, you could be the guild bard easily imo. That was a great retelling of it :D And yeah man it was a blast. WOOT!! :D Gah:: ella sorry I forgot you!! :P How could I forget? I still have your items man lol...

Valentine- 06-24-2005

Yes some of my armor parts were the Lion's Arch stuff and some of it was from Amnoon. But NONE of it was the top Stat stuff. :P Time to go farm me some wood/parchment/gold. Oh well. Shit I hate farming.

Peros- 06-24-2005

Its not fun...but when you sell those gold armors for 12-15k to suckers...it makes it all worth it :D

Valentine- 06-24-2005

Do you sell unidentified gold armor? I have seen one drop. And I didn't get it.

Peros- 06-24-2005

ya...ok, picture this, I have only did one truly serious farming with some helpful hints of an alright place that my monk could farm (lol my monk). And well at the end of the day I sold about 4 unid gold armor, and 3 unid purple armor (I id'ed a lot of purple to get me some runes in PvP).

Armageddon- 06-24-2005

btw, I was a W/Mo with 12 Healing prayers, which makes mending uber powerful, I healed others when my current energy allowed.(Frenzy and Hamstring both use 10 Energy) During the second guild battle, I had to sacrafice my Mending enchantment to cast on the Guild Lord while others healed him and casted enchantments of their own during that sneak attack. That was alot of fun too. XD Can't wait until the next set of GvG.

Mashekle- 06-25-2005

Should be on sunday ;) And I cant wait to have some more fun. Ill post my build I used later today, its my bedtime now lol

cian bloodbane- 06-25-2005

I used my Wa/N with 12 bloodmagic to have a +3 reg @ life siphon and +5 @ blood well  . Demonic flesh also gives me +176 life for 54 sec. :D When I attack i start with 100-blades to have enough adrenaline to do sever artery and gash. So they already have -20% life and a degen of 6 (bleed+life siphon). Then I end with final trust as surprise :P

Peros- 06-25-2005

I used a w/mo smiter and my build is Balthazars aura, symbol of wrath, signet of judgment (elite), bane signet, orison of healing, healing breeze, gash, sever artery. I put 12 into smiting, 9 into healing prayers, and 9 into swords with the addition of the helm (+1) and my minor smiting rune (+1) it got 11 (for extra damage with sword). I used knights armor, or whatever its called, its the one that is like 80 and reduces damage. Plus I put in Major absorbtions in any one that was not filled. (I still don't know if they affect one another). Plus I put a major vigor rune in my gloves. My strategy was to start of with symbol of wrath as a surpise, then go into balthazar aura and just start cutting them up with my sword and its skills. If they started attacking I would use bane signet and if they ran away I'd use signet of judgment. This build killed the first's team 4 henches all at once when they just grouped around. I just ran in the middle and activated my smiting, did a signet of judgment for some more damage, then all them laid on floor. This build also worked well against the different warriors from both teams. Since they seemed to not know of smiters (because whenever damage is dealt to you and its a skill red letters and the number of health loss is right above your character) it was then easy to use all my smiting skills and not see them run away at the start. Against casters it was a little harder do to the fact of them running away and I could not activate the smiting spells quick enough to get enough damage out of them. Though it was fun to see them run with little health and I just use a signet of judgment to knock them down. I think this build worked out very well and I may bring this one next time, but only if my N/W's skills are not finished. (((Its a lot similar build to yours cian, but I plan to use life transfer (elite) and life siphon for my degeneration and regeneration, in total it will give +10 regeneration for me and -10 degeneration for them. Then I would use a curse to lower attack speed. I then finish off with some energy consuming sword skills, because necros have better energy then warriors. ))) ;)

cian bloodbane- 06-25-2005

I know :x and I'm not even using any strength skills. So I should better make a N/Wa btw if we have +18 rating we are @ the guild ladder!

Peros- 06-25-2005

thats like one more win, the others gave like +33 and +28 (around there atleast) and with a 3-2 win/loss we'd better be ladder'ed.

Mashekle- 06-25-2005

This is the build I used. Healing Breeze word of healing mend condition remove hex Protective bond Protective spirit reversal of fortune Ressurect. _____________________________________________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ _____________________________________________________ Basically I focused 90% of my healing on the two healers, and myself. I wanted to make sure that our healing power stayed viable. Teams who dont protect their healers die fairly quickly. I also used my condition removal as much as humanly possible on the whole group, however I reserved remove hex for the healers, because of its cast time. I didnt want to be caught in casting animation TOO much, or my protections and heals would not be used as much as needed. Protective bond, I really kept for dire emergencies. I slapped it on the main healer when his life continually dropped (meaning he was being focused fired) . Also I slapped protective spirit, on him, to ensure he didnt die. ;) Basically, the main point of my whole build, was to keep our healers alive at all costs. While removing as many conditions from the rest of the group as possible. And yes at times I would cast protections on the rest of the group as well, but only when I had no healers to save, and plenty of en. It doesnt do any good for a prot / healer, to run out of EN ever. :)

Peros- 06-25-2005

Your build was very helpful mash. I don't think I could count the number of times I was bleeding and you removed the conidition. It was also so funny to see you run around in circles while a warrior just runs behind you. You kept your life pretty high even though you had a lot of warrior threat. Thats a good build you got there.
