I should like to join if it's a little earlier or later :x
I made a pvp N/Wa to compare with my N/Wa and I like it :D
@ my first game we had to fight 3vs4
The other 2 of my team died really quick so I had to fight 3 on my own. And I won
Probably cause of luck but whatever. They just did less damage than my life regen! :D

i didn't get the change to participate in anny guildbattle
but i (finaly) found my favorite monk build
its all about prot and life boosting:
The Edge - Guild Wars Utility

Attributes: (cost) '+' indicates Rune attributes
Divine Favor: 10+4 (61)
Protection Prayers: 11+3 (77)
Beast Mastery: 10 (61)
Total attribute points used: 199/200

1) Aegis (15,1,30) Enchantment: For 11 seconds, all party members have a 50% chance to block attacks.<>
2) Guardian (5,1,2) Enchantment: For 5 seconds, target ally has a 48% chance to block attacks and magical projectiles.
3) Reversal of Fortune (5,0,2) Enchantment: The next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of health instead, maximum 76.

cool build netniwk, its a very good protector monk, I espically like the symboiosis combo. We'll have lots of life with that :)
Also, I'll be there tonight for some GvG. Maybe might be able to bring my N/W ...but I still have a feeling I won't. (Probably this weekend, if we do some GvG). If I can't, then I'll bring my new Mes/Mo build. I have played with it a bit, and it works out pretty well. As long there are a few other people targeting the monk, it should not have enough to time to remove my hex, run and heal at the same time.
This build however has worked very well against elementalist who do not have a healer to remove the hexes.
Mashekle- 06-28-2005
When drak gets home, Ill tell her to post what time she will be doing the GvG. As a member of council, she could conceivably do GvG all day and night if she wanted :D We will see how it goes though. We may need to recruit some new members, so that we can have enough people online to participate.
Peros- 06-28-2005
lol thats a good idea, then there won't be 6 people on when it was said.
Well, I'm good for playing for a while, just post that time and i'm there.
Elladan Calafalas- 06-28-2005
Isn't there something that makes a person take dmg for how much energy they have?
OOH OOH OOH! Also something that takes away enchantments, shatter enchant is nice, strip enchantment is not bad to have, but not as easy to beat with, they both make them able to use less spells, and not take healing when using those spells...although...SCOURGE ENCHANT! MORE REASON TO USE!
WOOT!
...that is all
oh yeah, and I have some strategies I would put up, but after reading Mash's post, I'd rather not risk getting kicked out by putting up crappy strategies :P
drakyra shadowfang- 06-28-2005
ok if dark gets home we will host some gvg not sure what time maybe between 9 and 10 if we can't get them tonight then there is always tomorrow
drakyra shadowfang- 06-28-2005
if we can get enough people on we will start at 8:30pm that is in about 30min from now
Mashekle- 06-29-2005
Ella, no one ever said that you would get kicked for posting crappy strategies. I only stated that crappy strategies would not be kept in the war room. You may post all the dribble you want in the rest of the forums. :D
Peros- 06-29-2005
lol ya, I have been doin it recently :P Well...I haven't been kicked out...yet :P
But ya, strip'in the enchantments would work well v. protector monks. It would be a good strategy the moment the spell is casted, a hugh spike from everyone is dealt to the one player. That way, it doesn't give them enough time to recast all there protection on thereselves. And with the protection monk(s) out of the way, the rest will be a little easier.
Mashekle- 06-29-2005
GRRRRR.. I hate enchantment removal.... Its screws me up royally. ;)
Elladan Calafalas- 06-29-2005
okay, we should test on mash. :P
btw, here is the build I am considering
Healing prayers: 7
Smiting Prayers: 10
Strength: 2+1
Swordsmanship: 12+4
Tactics: 4+1
My equipped skills would be Sever artery, Galrath Slash, Final Thrust, Sprint, Scourge Healing, Shield of Judgement, Healing Breeze, and Resurrect.
My plan is to target a monk from afar, set up Scourge Healing, sprint, sever artery, cast shield and healing breeze on anyone getting targeted, galrath slash, then finish with Final Thrust. I would like to use Jude's Insight for the holy dmg and 20% ap, but its jsut one of thsoe thigns I cant fit.
This is of course just a prototype, I will need to get to Mineral Springs, as well as complete the two attribute quests before I can do this, but I cant wait...LETS DO IT! LETS ROCK AND ROLL!
spenser- 06-29-2005
The Monk i have is full healling all his points go into Healing and Divine Favor, the rest in protection.
drakyra shadowfang- 06-29-2005
