The Ancient Library
As you walk around the library taking in everything, you see a pile of books on one table and as you walk closer to this table you see a head behind the pile hard at work writing things down. Nyxa is her name and she is determined to be the greatest Fire Elementalist ever know. Ever since she could read she had had her nose in the spell books lerning everything that she could about being a Fire Elementalist. Spending so much time in the library she has become part of the furniture, but the staff doesn't mind her being there. Nyxa knows that the day she must venture out to strengthen her skills and she fears that she will find a group that will lead her the wrong way. She hopes that one day the right group will find her instead, only time will tell. Nyxa has also heard the "calling" and that's why she's waiting for the right group to come along, she knows that the Dark Lady will not steer her in the wrong direction.

Nyxa gets up from the table to return some books and to stretch her legs out. While walking around and putting the books back, Nyxa looks around and notice that noone is around. All though this is really no surprise to her, not many people are at the library as often as she is. After getting more books, Nyxa heads back to her table to go back to studying and her research.

Outside the library Peros appears at the front of the doors. He opens and sees the place emtpy. But as he searchs around he sees a young lady deep into her study of books. Deciding not to bother her, he tip toes to a couple bookshelves on the right. He takes a list out from bag, it has much writting on it and looks like a page ripped off from a book. The page is very old and worn, so he starts with that to search for the book with the missing page. It seems very valuable to him and starts looking. After about 2 minutes, he finds that its to big of a deal. So he looks around for a librarian. Remembering when he entered he saw the girl and maybe she was the librarian here. He heads toward her, and stops a little before her work area. "Hello there miss, can you give me some assistance on helping me find a book. Its of old text and most likely of mythonian teachings." With a smile on his face, he hopes this young girl can help with what he is looking for because it is of much importants to his journey. With eagerness in his eyes he awaits her answer.

looking up from the book she was looking over. Nyxa says "may i see that piece of paper you hold?" After the young man hands it over, Nyxa looks over if quickly and replies, "this is some very old script, I believe you can find more books like this over in the History section, but I noticed certain words so you may want to start over in Religion. Relicion can be found over to the right about 6 or 7 rows over and history is 3 rows to the left of that." After handing the piece of paper back to him, Nyxa looks back to her book about to start where she left off. Not wanting to be rude to this young man she looks back p to make sure he went in the right direction. "He is one"Nyxa knows this voice, it is the Dark Lady, looking back Nyxa makes a mental note of this young mans looks, so when she is ready she will know who to look for.

Mashekle crouches high atop the library, awaiting the young man he has been following. "Ahhh there he is.." mashekle whispered to himself. "The one the dark lady wants me to meet. Yeah well I dont see why I cant spy on him first...... Its only prudent right?" His thoughts continued to focus on whether or not he should continue to spy or not , when he heard her voice again. "Mashekle, you must go meet him now. He is with another of my chosen, and she will not take kindly to you prowling around here." "hmmmmm I suppose your right." Mashekle thought to himself. It took him about 3 seconds to ascend to the bottom of the library, and about 5 minutes to gather his nerves enough to confront the two chosen ones in the library. "Hello ma'am." Mashekle bellowed out as he entered the library."Stupid! its a library!!! damn I should be whispering..." he thought to himself. Seeing such a young woman so enthralled in her studies, impressed mashekle. He hoped she would be as nice as she looked.

looking up from her books at the man who just decides to barge in and yelling, rolls her eyes "some people have no manners" she says to herself. Standing up Nyxa say to this newcomer "Excuse me sir, you do realize that this a library, and you need to be a little more quiet." As Nyxa goes to sit down she notices that the young man over in the Religion sections looks over to see what is going on and who is making all this noise. He turns and goes back to looking over the book he has in his hand. Nyxa then sits and looks over at the man who just came in and then starts to think to herslef "boy does he look out of place in here" and she smiles to herself. She goes back to her books..........

As Peros heads to the shelves to find the book he hears a male voice say pretty loudly "Hello ma'am". He thinks to himself "Don't people know that its a library." Peros also wonders who it could be because he only remembers the young lady with her studys in the building at the time. Thinking to himself "Never the less, I should get back to my true goal...Now which shelve did she say...History...or was it Mystery...Oh well, I will check out History first and did she say religion? Well, I will check that to". He stops at the shelf and starts to look for some old books with the same sort of page color and writing style. He comes to about 10 that he finds in History. He then checks Religion and finds only 3. With amazing balance he was just barely able to carry all 13 to a table. He starts to search through the book for a ripped or missing page. After about his third book, he glances to the left of him to see a strange man. He starts to mumble to himself. Thinking to himself, "Probably just thinking out loud...I do it all the time...Though he seems to have some intention of being here...But what?....AH!!! i got to get back to work...Okay then now lets try...This one".

Mashekle, turning red with embarrassment, quickly sits down next to the lady and gives her his best smile. "Ma'am I am truly sorry for my previous outburst, but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a book on the "Heart of Tyria?" " He said this all in a near whisper tone. Noticing the man to his right obviously looking for something important in the stack of books he had, mashekle felt a twinge of worry. "This guy is the one that she wants me to meet, but why has he not noticed me yet?? Also this woman just seems to want to ignore me.. Maybe I need to break the ice a little better." This he thought while awaiting the young womans answer.

Nyxa looks over to the man that just sat down next to her and gave a small smile towards the apology that was given. "Let me think, The Heart of Tyria" hmmm......."now if you want to know about the history of it, I would say go look in History. If you want to know other things about it I would say go look in Magic and Spells section, look specifically for a book about Mineralogy" About to turn back to her books, she looks back at theman next to her, "Mineralogy......it's the study of the magical properties of stones" man if people don't know what things are they shouldn't be here wasting my time.

Peros stands up and looks at the one book in shock "could...could, this be!?" He starts to laugh a little at himself. He re-opens his bag and takes out the paper to be positive."YES!" he shouts abruptly and laughs loudly. The young lady, Nyxa, glares at him all of a sudden "Doesn't anyone know this is a library!" Peros responds "er...I'm very sorry....Won't happen again, I promise" in a whisper sort of tone. On the page he had is a map, or atleast half a map of tyria. There is also a drawing a jewel on it. It has puzzled him ever since because there was an arrow pointing the exact location of this jewel, but it was on a different page. Now that he restored the map, he could check where it was. Thinking to himself "Hmmm...I don't think I was ever there before...." There was also writing under the location of the jewel, though it had very bad writing and Peros could only make out 2 words and 2 letters of another word. He mumbles to himself "What is H something, something, something, T of Tyria?" This puzzled him much but now he knew the location, he was ready to set out to find this H----T of Tryia.

Without warning Nyxa hears a cry in her head, "Save us plaease save us." Visually her senses are taken over she sees a Necromancer holding bloodied scepter and raising to toward the roof of a catacomb passage it seems. Thousands of lie skulls behind him, each seems to have an arcane symbols drawn on them. He was short combed back white hair and is wearing all silver, shes sees a dark purple haired women asleep on an altar. He prepares the skulls around the women, with almost perfect precision. The necromancer has a grin as he prepares his first incantation. Nyxa suddenly awakens, noting that she is still in the library.

Mashekle, deciding to go to the history section first, and possibly talking to the dark ladies chosen one, slowly approached the isle of books directly behind him. "Hey thats the map!!" He whispered to himself as he peered between two books stacked neatly on the shelf. "Its a good thing I have a good memory", mashekle smiled to himself. "NO!... I did not lead you to him for the map... I could have simply told you were to go. I sent you to him because you will need him, AND her if you hope to ever get your hands on the heart of tyria." Mashekle sat next to peros. "So what are you looking at there?"

Glancing over Mashekle, still with a smile on his face he says "This er...Heart of something...I don't really know what it is but after reading a few pages of this journal" closes the book and shows the front page it reads "the journal of vixxor". He continues "it seems pretty valueable and this vixxor guy knew about this heart jewel pretty well...Do you think you might know of anything or someone would be intrested to assist me on my knew journey?".

Mashekle, trying not to act to excited, winked at peros. "I may know a thing or two about the heart of tyria.. " Looking to make sure no one was listening in, "I think we can find this jewel together... but we will need to convince the lass over there to join us." With that he leaned forward and smiled his best smile. "Miss we seem to have run into a difficulty with this book here. Could you perhaps aide us for a moment? We would be eternally grateful I assure you."

"heart of tyria...eh?" Thinking to himself, Peros ponders. Still thinking to himself "this guy must know more then he percieves, and with the help of this elemtalist, I think this legendary item is in my grasp" smiling at his thoughts he waits for Nxya's decesion. Speaking directly to Nxya "Yes miss. With the aid of your power, maybe we can find what we are looking for". And with a good-wholesome smile, Peros and Mashakle, wait for her answer.
