Assassin's Island lore

about 350 years ago the water of Crimson Bay was the brilliant blue of the ocean. There was a small fishing town off the coast of the bay were Crimson Bay City now sets. this town was a human town till one day A new boat arrived carrying three families to the village. The families weren't like the others they were deferent and were shunned by the rest of the village. All the children were told to Stay away from them roomers began about them being witches The villagers didn't know how rite they were until about 15 years after the families came to the vilage.
Lilly was child of 3 when they first arrived at the village. 15 years later she had turned into a lovely lady of 18. but none of the men in the village wanted any thing to do with her so every one thought. The truth was she had been seeing A young fisherman named Jason. he wanted to marry Lilly, but the problem with that was his parents would have none of it. he had to marry a village girl not one of the out cast families. they had every thing set up he was suppose to marry Kayla one of the village elders granddaughter.
Jason refused, but in the end gave in to there demands when he was told by the elder if Jason didn't marry his granddaughter he would see to it that Lilly met her end and Jason would have to live the rest of his life knowing he is why she died.
Lilly was hart broke. she was so angry that she wanted to curs them all to kill the girl that would marry her love she had the power. Lilly's mother tried to calm her, telling Lilly Jason did it for her and that if she was to do the things she wanted it would risk them all they were outlaws even from there own kind. Lilly did as her mother wanted she let it go put on a smile and Things went on as if nothing happened.
The wedding came and went And Lilly's mother thought Lilly had got over Jason until the day Lilly diapered into the forest. they searched for her for days the villagers gave up in there minds no one could live that long in this wilderness they told Lilly's mother, but she knew her daughter could and something told her all was not well.
Moths went by ans Lilly didn't come back her mother began to think she was wrong and Lilly would never return. Then one cold Clear night Lilly showed up at her mothers door with a new baby in her arms. Lilly's mother then new what had happened. She quickly ushered Lilly and her baby in knowing that she had to think fast if any of the villagers were to see her and this baby and thing that it mite be Jason's it would mean serton death for her daughter and the baby both.
The next day every one knew Lilly had returned but no one knew about the baby. Lilly's mother kept it quit until she could figure out how to explain it were it mite save her daughter and grandson's life.
The next night Lilly's mother awoke to the sounds of a mob outside her door. Jason's Wife had died and they blamed Lilly. They said she was a witch and had Killed Kayla with a thought. They had came to take Lilly to her death Lilly's mother them became desperate she couldn't let her only child and grandchild die. She froze the entire village in time then grabed Lilly and the baby told them to wake the others to get on a boat and run and do it fast. Lilly beged her mother to come she told Lilly she had to stay she had to die so that Lilly and the baby could get away.
Lilly did what her mother wanted her and all the other witches were getting on a boat when the villagers came back to normal. They were angry and scared. The village now knew the families really were witches in there rage they wanted to kill them all not let a single one get away. The villagers charged the boat with blood lust in there eyes.
The first witch to fall was a soon to be mother. They stomped her to death trying to get to the rest getting on the boat. Lilly feared for her son so she stood to fight but heard her mothers voice telling her to flee and Lilly did with her baby and about half of the others the rest stayed behind to protect the ones that were fleeing. The witch children watched as the boat drifted out to see and there mothers and fathers died before there eyes.
Lilly's Mother was the last to fall Lilly felt her die as the boat neared the Island that was about 30mil from the cost. Lilly knew they would come after her and the others.
they got off the boat at the island her and the others began to deside how to protect the children when they saw a cave they ran into it.
The witches sensed magik in the cave and they decided they would use it to protect them they began to weave a spell. Sounds of boats with angry mobs were heard in the distance and the spell wasn't strong enough. The children one by one joined to strengthen it then they all put there anger for what they had saw in it and it was almost enough but not quite. Lilly thought they were all going to die she couldn't save them like her mother had wanted her to do. Then her son started to cry and Lilly filled with determination she would not let them kill her son her's and Jason's son her son born from love. With that thought love spilled through her and it's power shot out and strengthened the spell more than they could have hoped for.
A coil reef sprouted out of the water surrounding the island destroying most of the incoming boats and shredding the people who fell out of them. None the reef hit lived. the few boats that remanded turned around and headed back to the village.
The water around the island turned the color of blood. As if the very island bled. it soon drifted past coil reef and into the Bay. when all was done the Bay was stained a red color and the water between the island and the reef was the shade of blood. so from that day on the Bay was named The Crimson Bay.
