As you all know, I'm poor, and I was jsut wondering, where is the best place you all go to farm? _________________ For all those who walk in the shadow of darkness, the brighter they seem. -Elladan Calafalas |

ok, umm...lets see you can try, ettins at beetletun if you take the time you should get 1 gold armor every 4-5 (about) runs and like 1 purple every 2-3 (about). (I have gotten more purples then blues on the runs as well).
You can try drakes at Gate of Kryta if your not strong enough for ettins. They give 1k in items every run. But, the run takes about 30-40 min.
You can also try zealots. I don't know where you would go, but recently I have noticed them droping good gold armor (good=high armor number). It took me like 5-6 trys in aurora and 4 of the times, the zealots dropped gold armor. I didn't get any, which ticked me off. Try them if you want, i will try later if no one can confirm there drop rate. (I got to first get life transfer with my n/w, it will work wonders against the zealots tough armor).
Another is the things outside east of droknars forge. (lol, forgot there names but know the location). If you can handle beatdown of like 6 at once, I heard you get 3-4k a run from drops. But no rares drop well here, it takes like 1 gold drop every 1 1/2 hours of killing them, and thats pretty low to farm on for gold drops.
Also if you do not rely on enchantments, you can try killing flesh golems in pedtrition rock (or whatever its called). They were pretty nerfed due to the fact of there increased strength and strip enchantment abiltiy.
Now to go to a serious note here, everything is farmable. Just find the right build to counter them and they are farmable. Places are only considered "best" because people know how to beat them. _________________

A good place to farm for any ranged attack user is just outside ice caves of sorrow.
The best things to fight (for rangers is all i know, i dont know much about other classes) are the ice imps and siege ice golems. Id say dont bother with the bird things, theyre not worth the pain.
If your really good at healing yourself, you can solo this without dying and get 3-4k a run. Most of the items dropped are blue, and most of those are just precios (not really a good place if your looking for weapon upgrades).
To kill the imps, just hide by the bridge and use it as a shield so only the imps up close can hit you, they use maelstrom (about 14 damage a sec.) and ice spear (hits about 28 a hit). Any dodging/evading techniques DO NOT work well on these guys.
Just after the armies of imps are the ice golems in a small valey. again, if your good at healing, you can face them all no problem without dying. just to be safe, i found that just near a tree on a cliff you can hit them easily with ranged attacks and only get hit by 1 or 2 of them at a time. they do not hit much at all (about 3-5 damage, theyre skill thing hits about 33). any fire techniques work well here, and elementalists and mesmers can do this part without taking any hits at all. any AOE skills (particularly FIRE AOE skills) work extremely well here.
BTW, Im a ranger, and a good combo of skills i found to use is: Hunters shot, troll unguant, determined shot, ignite arrow , dryders defences (for the siege ice golems), poison arrow (this is so you can hit those stupid imps while ducking behind that bridge to heal) , and healing spring.
Id post pictures to help explain, but i dont really know how o do that yet.
Hope this is helpfull _________________ Be ye just and fear not
