From the ashes of the Clans following their defeat by the Inner Sphere rises a new Clan that seeks to reassert their true ways.
They must emerge from the shadows to escape persecution from their fallen breathren, but none shall sway them from their thirst for true combat.
They take the name Shadow Phoenix and wear it proudly, teaching all that fight them that their way is correct.
That is the basic back story for the MW Shadow Phoenix.
And also, if this is in the wrong section of the board please move it. |

So are you derived from The crusader clans or warden clans? Are you guys from Clan Jade Falcon, Wolf, Ghost Bear, Armadillo, Werewolf, Smoke Jaguar, or Nova Cat? What is your guy's home planet? Are you guys part of Empire?
Sorry, Mechwarrior is my favourite thing in the universy _________________ For all those who walk in the shadow of darkness, the brighter they seem. -Elladan Calafalas |

Ah, I didnt wanna put to much data in, especially considering that this is not a MW team.
We are formed from disatisfied warriors from all the clans. The path to peace was far to unsavory for them to take.
Some of our members have small back stories such as myself.
I was a warrior of the Smoke Jaguars, perhaps the only one left. During operation serpent the planet I was a garrison for was taken and due to a twist of fate I survived, but was stranded for a time.
Eventually I was able to find out what had happened to my once proud clan and made up my mind then and there to lead a new clan onto the true path of combat.
My first step was to make contact with as many planets as I could, reaching for those that were in the lower positions, mainly Captains as to not garner to much notice.
Once we got enough members we left for the Inner Sphere, making a planet in the area once held by Smoke Jaguar, within Kurita space our base.
From there we hired out our strength as Mercenaries, normally a detestable profession but in our case it was the best way to see combat and it is made palatable by our method of accepting missions, based mainly on the honor and amount of combat it would recieve. |

bah, Smoke Jaguars lost in thier trial of annihilation, almost as badly as Wolverine. While FedCom lost almost no troops...they did, however, lose Morgan Hasek Davion... _________________ For all those who walk in the shadow of darkness, the brighter they seem. -Elladan Calafalas |

The Smoke Jaguars lost because they lost the way of the true clans.
They were at one time the most vicious of the clans, carving out great hunks of territory.
And at the time they were targeted for Operation Serpent/Bulldog they had the most strength. |

The only reason for that though (IMO) is because they didn't need to sacrifice many troops while conquering tons of territory using Orbital Bombardement. _________________ For all those who walk in the shadow of darkness, the brighter they seem. -Elladan Calafalas |

You are refering to the Turtle Bay massacre.
That only happened one time in the entire invasion and it was also a world that they had already conquered, they did it to quell a uprising by the civilian population.
It was the one and only time any clan used orbital bombardment. |

ahh, I was under the impression it was jsut the only time Orbital Bombardement was used by the clans to wipe out a whole settlement. I'll have to check into that. _________________ For all those who walk in the shadow of darkness, the brighter they seem. -Elladan Calafalas |

Maybe a good idea. I can’t understand a word of what you’re saying here
And I even played Mech-war 2 like um… 9 years ago. _________________
