Its almost impossible to get a good party together anymore in gw. As me, handy, and apoc found out today. We need to form a good party for thirsty river, and I swear it took forever. And even then the party sucked. We had a level 15 monk, who claimed he was uber, but then he just sat and watched our ghostly hero die. WOOT! _________________

I know I don't play much anymore (I've been really busy with school and everything) but if you let me know ahead of time, I can help you do w/e, as long as it's not past Thunderhead Keep. Still haven't gotten past that. Can't get a decent party together. :? _________________

its kind of hard to believe how many incompitent people there are out there, with all the forum advice, and guides out there.
it took me like two weeks to beat the fire chain islands, thanx to people who aggro, cant self heal, or defend themselves

lol yeah, aggroing can be the #1 killer of good parties.
Maybe one of us should write up an "etiquette of PvE" thread :P _________________

ugh, I hate thirsty river. The difficulty rating skyrockets. At this rate, I'll never Ascend. =(
I'm planning on doing some leveling up outside the Oasis so I can be of more help and survive longer during the last part of the mission. I also plan on replacing my Major Absorbtion rune with a Superior.
From what I saw, what I think we needed in terms of party classes are:
protection monk
healer monk
Ele's with AoE skills equiped.
A couple of warriors to deal with the bosses and the priests.
Which class can strip enchantments from an enemy. The 3rd boss casts enchantments on it's priest and those prevented us from killing it, allowing the downed enemies to revive and leading to our downfall.
I'm sure there are better classes to bring, but hey, it's 1:02 am and I'm tired.
Also, we need more level 20's in the party. and yeah, that monk was useless. _________________

Have an ele cast maelstrom on the monk boss, and he wont be able to cast spells for a while. YOu should have enough time to pummel the priest. _________________
