Here we will answer all of your questions and concerns with our role playing system.

first I will preface this thread with some basic points.

First off Im still working on the program named "gm tool" It will be ready soon. Its taking longer due to the fact that Im a noob programmer, and had to find some creative ways to do things.

Second, we wish for this system to be a simple as possible for the gamer. The gm tool will make it easy for the gm, but for you the gamer we have chosen many things such as no levels, and no skill levels to handle this. For instance, using percentages of dmg rather than straight accross dmg completely solves the problem of ensuring that skills are always viable. With a system of skill leveling to increase skill dmg, we can end up with people doing one hit wonder kills, while other people need to hit 30 times to kill anything.

The gm will handle all the behind the scenes business, while you the player will simply role play as you normally do with a few exceptions.

Never control someone else. Never say what other players remember or think or say or do, unless you have discussed it with this player via pm or messenger, etc. "Mashekle jumps into the room, and raccool turns his head and winks at him, remembering him from his erotic past." This is wrong, and will not be allowed, UNLESS mashekle has pm'ed raccool and asked for permission.

Also with attacking, you will not say that you hit hit someone, you will say that you attempt to attack someone, or that you attack them, or swing your weapon at them ect.. "Mashekle plants a ninja flip kick on the vamps head, causing the vampire to real backwards with the tremendous force." This is wrong and will not be allowed. However THIS will be allowed. "Mashekle runs up the wall summersaulting off of it and launching his foot at the were with all of his might. " This will be allowed.
This WILL be allowed as well. " Mashekle slams his fist toward the slayers nuts, then swings his foot at the slayers head." Thats ok as well but remember the enemy will get two attacks on you.

i got a question about this too,
since this is new with all these sheets and races and whatknot

are we going to staart a new post thread for it? or are we going to continue with the old one? and if we continue with the old one, do we just edit our posts to match the sheets?

on the RPG, is there going to be a map we play by? or do we make it up on our own as we go? or does each player make their own world, and then hey all meet through some nexus in space and time..... and yea?
just wondering, 'cause it would be easier to keep track of where we were if we had a map, right?

the gm controls the game world, as well as successes npc's etc.. We as the player simply need to focus on our own character and nothing else.


The GM may decide to draw up maps if he / she chooses though.
