Before me a blood myst, people have turned into shadows
Feeling abandoned, caught in a pyramidal cell
Base overwhelmed by quicksands, I am falling
A brilliant black light shines through the vertex
Toxicity swarms in the air, I am suffocating
The hammer hits the anvil, and I am between
Some call me evil, already they sing the requiem

Far away, persistent distance, another day, continuous ignorance
You speak with loud sounds, lie with mute words
Creating unholy grounds, for my lost thoughts
Forbidden opinions, led my spirit to this cage
A prison filled with quelled rage, you call conformity
How long will you linger, how long will you last
Unwilling to admit, bound to the present past

Yep I've been quoting and copying a lot recently from Tool and Dream Theater, but these are 100% by me original copyrighted and all you want wow

They were actually written as songs (I've removed the chorus and other repeated lines and such) for RL friends who have a rock band. They asked me to sing but I'm too shy, I just played the bass for them in the early days until they could find one (guitarists are so common but finding a bass player can be a real crusade). It was a lot of fun, but writing songs alone in my corner is definitely what I like most. Oh and playing Guild Wars with a great guild too ;)

I have made lots of poems over the years, but i only rmeember one I came up with a couple weeks ago.

Upon you my eyes I set,
And I will never forget
A forsaken love so fair,
And you your golden hair.

Everytime I look at you,
Is like a dagger through my heart,
A razor blade, a needle, a poison laden dart.

Everytime I gaze at you,
My soul cries out.
Everytime I'm near you,
I just want to shout:

I made it for a girl I like, actually the first girl I've ever loved. I was going to read it in class when we were sharing our poems, but the day before, she started going out with another guy...and I never got a chance to tell her how I feel...

Here's one a little elss personal than my last, sinc it's about video games, and violence.

Every night I sit,
Watching my tv.
I just want to be someone else,
There is no-one else to be.

I turn on my computer,
Load up a game.
No matter who I become,
It doesn't feel the same.

Ten minutes later,
I've forgotten about my life.
Everything feels better,
When I'm holding a knife.

I start hacking, slashing,
My face is alight with glee.
All of a sudden my computer shuts off,
And I go on a killing spree.

I'm an angel of death,
A martyr for a cause.
How could this be?
Video game violence doesn't kill people,
It's the lack of video games you see.

I love poetry alot, I love all literature, but poetry just seems the most emotional. It's always a more from the heart and soul kind of thing than just novels or stories. True a story can be deep and meaningful but a poem stands alone in its own self. I can't write poetry but I love to read it. One of my friends writes really deep poems, many dealing with death or borken hearts. It seems cliche but he wrote most of them at a difficult time so you can understand why he wrote them the way he did. I'll ask him if I can post one so you can see.
